Protection of Children using Drugs Program- An act that allows legal guardians of a child to ask the court for a protection order over their child who is under the age of 18 and believed to be at risk or causing harm to themselves or to others due to the use of alcohol or drugs. If granted, the child would be taken to a safe house for detoxification, stabilization, and assessment.
