  • Beginners Crocheting - $85 
    • Learn the basics of crocheting such as starter chain, single and double crochet, increasing, working flat and in the round, and reading a pattern. 4.5 hours of instruction spread out over 3 weeks.
    • Class time is from 5:00 - 6:30 pm on Wednesdays 
    • This class includes all materials.

  • Beginner Knitting Class - $100
  • This beginner knitting class is designed for people with little to no experience with knitting.
    • Over the 3-week course, you will learn the basics of the craft that will set you on the path to successfully completing knit projects!
    • You will be taught how to start and end a project, pattern sizing, different kinds of stitches, fixing a dropped stitch, and how to read knitting patterns.
    • This is a prerequisite class for Knitting in the Round Workshop.
    • 10:30 am- 12:00 pm dates may vary
 
  • Materials included:
    • One pair of 6.00 mm straight knitting needles  
    • One 100g ball of Galway chunky weight yarn 
    • Stitch markers
    • Tapestry Needle

  • What you get 
    • 4.5 hours of in-person instructional time over 3 weeks
    • Foundational knowledge to tackle knitting projects
    • A beautiful project made by you
 
  • Beginner Sock Knitting - $65
    • In this class we will learn the basics of knitting socks. It will give you a solid first step into the world of socks! Using Tin Can Knit’s Rye Sock pattern we will be making one child sized sock on double pointed needles. 
    • 10:30 am- 12:00 pm dates may vary
 
    • Supplies needed: 
      • 3.25mm and 3.75mm double pointed needles
      • Darning needle
      • Lockable stitch stitch markers
      • 1 ball of worsted weight yarn (Galway worsted)
 
    • Prerequisites for this class are:
      • You know basics of knitting or have taken Beginner Knitting
      • While its not required it would be helpful to know how to knit in the round
 
    • What you will get:
      • 4.5 hours of in-person instructional time over 3 weeks
      • Basic sock anatomy – the sky's the limit from here!
      • A beautiful pair of children's socks made by you
 
  • Beginner Mittens- $65
    • In this workshop we will work together on The World's Simplest Mittens pattern by Tin Can Knits. You will learn the basics of mittens and have fun doing it! 
    • 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, dates may vary
 
    • Supplies needed: 
      • 3.25mm and 3.75mm double pointed needles
      • Darning needle
      • Lockable stitch stitch markers
      • 1 ball of worsted weight yarn (Galway worsted)
 
    • Prerequisites for this class are:
      • You know basics of knitting or have taken Beginner Knitting
      • While its not required it would be helpful to know how to knit in the round
 
    • What you will get:
      • 3 hours of in-person instructional time over 3 weeks
      • An understanding of the basic anatomy of mittens 
      • Your first knit mittens!
